BackBayResidential.com is owned and operated by Joseph Baglio, a licensed Real Estate Broker who has been successfully representing Buyers, Sellers, Rental Customers and Real Estate Investors for over 25 years in the Back Bay and surrounding neighborhoods.
As a next step of an audit we had created for the same client, we were contacted by Mr. Baglio with a request to improve the performance, extend current functionality, create an administrative panel to easily make changes and perform some SEO optimizations of his existing web site. As long as the system was designed as a template solution with a shared code base, we didn't have another option than developing a custom web application from scratch. Our solution consisted of two parts: front-end web site and a back-end synchronization daemon to integrate with the local state MLS server (using RETS v. 1.2 as a protocol for communication) and cache properties data locally for better performance in searches and while browsing the site. The various SEO optimizations performed (multiple independent brochure sub sites created as part of this process) , along with the other improvements already described and the redesign of the site helped him to distinguish from local competition.
